My journey as an author is shaped by love, loss, and the unbreakable bond I shared with my chosen little brother, Jad. During his battle with cancer, I promised to support him, a promise that led me to join the Marine Corps—a decision that forever changed my understanding of perseverance and sacrifice.
Spending time at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital, I was deeply inspired by the courage of young cancer fighters facing unimaginable challenges. Their resilience became the foundation for _The World of Atlas_ series, a tribute to their strength.
Through the publishing house I founded, I honor Jad’s memory by helping artists share stories that inspire hope, inclusivity, and the pursuit of dreams. To me, cancer patients are the true heroes among us—and through my books, I hope to show you why.
